Join us in our classroom at Janice B’s, Hedge End for a relaxed, fun and informative demonstration and cake tasting evening and learn how to cut, level, fill and cover a sponge cake, using jam and buttercream and sugar paste and finish with simple hand made flowers and foliage and decorative piping.

Our experienced and talented tutor, Julie Hancock, will show you how to prepare a sponge cake for covering in sugar paste and how to ensure a smooth coat.  Sit back and relax while Julie demonstrates how to colour sugar paste, how to mould with modelling paste and how to make simple flowers and add some piped detail to decorate your cake.  Throughout the evening Julie will share lots of tips and hints and will of course answer all your questions.

Refreshments will be served during the evening and there will be plenty of Janice B’s delicious cakes for you to sample.
