Children love to bake! Our May half-term, jungle-themed children’s baking club is the ideal holiday activity for the budding bakers in your family.
In this three day Baking Club the children will learn to cut, fill, crumb coat and ice a sponge cake using sugarpaste. They will then learn to decorate the cake jungle style and have great fun making delightful models of jungle animals in sugarpaste.

Our fabulous resident tutor, Julie Hancock, will guide the children each step of the way, encouraging them to be as independent and creative as they wish to be. At the end of the session on Friday the children will bring their delicious creations home.
Our Children’s Baking Club classes are small to ensure that the children receive lots of one-to-one attention. The course is suitable for children aged 7 – 14 years old. No experience is necessary. The class will take place at Janice B’s Cake and Sugarcraft Centre in Hedge End.
As with all our classes and workshops everything in the way of ingredients and equipment will be provided. Please send the children with aprons and snacks and drinks.
