Book your place on this fun and creative class and take home an amazing Christmas-themed sponge cake.
During the class Julie Hancock will teach you various skills to ice and decorate a sponge cake with buttercream, using various tubes/piping nozzles and different coloured buttercream . Julie will teach you all the techniques necessary to pipe flowers, leaves and other shapes and how to achieve different butterceam finishes on your cake.
This class, to be hosted at Janice B’s Cake and Sugarcraft Centre in Hedge End, near Southampton, is suitable for all and will combine a detailed demonstration and a hands-on workshop, during which each participant will ice and decorate a delicious sponge cake. You will be able to incorporate your own ideas and creative flair to the cake.
Throughout the class, Julie will share lots of tips and hints and will, of course, answer all your questions.
The cake, buttercream, colours and all equipment are included in the cost of the class and will be provided for you. All you need to bring is an apron.
Light refreshments will be served during the class. Please feel free to bring snacks and a packed lunch.
